Laura V. Bearsch, a principal with the firm since 1999, received her undergraduate degree from Towson University in 1991 and her law degree from the University of Baltimore in 1994, where she was associate editor of The Law Forum. Ms. Bearsch is a former law clerk for the Honorable William O. Carr.
Ms. Bearsch's practice is concentrated in family law matters and includes divorce, custody, child support, alimony, guardianship, property disposition, and adoption, and Children in Need of Assistance ("CINA"). She also handles appellate matters in these practice areas.
Ms. Bearsch is chairperson of the Harford County Judicial Nominating Commission (2007-present), and a member of the Maryland State and Harford County Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Harford County Historic Preservation Commission.
Ms. Bearsch teaches "Gender and the Law" as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County ("UMBC").
